meet the alderidge fc arctic wolves

Alderidge FC Arctic Wolves was founded in 2026 by a dedicated group of volunteer coaches—Neil Mohaghegh, Dane Larsen, Marco Quiñones, Rod Smith, and Othman Riad—who shared a passion for developing young athletes in their community. Working with children ages 5–10, the coaches recognized both the enthusiasm and potential within their players and sought to create something more structured and impactful.

The name Alderidge FC originated from Neil Mohaghegh and Billy Ngo, reflecting their roots in the Alderidge community of Lynnwood, Washington. As the program grew, the full name Alderidge FC Arctic Wolves was adopted to represent a “pack mentality”—emphasizing teamwork, resilience, and collective growth.

Over time, the program expanded to include multiple teams across different age groups, with players demonstrating readiness to move beyond recreational soccer. With the support and commitment of families, the organization formally took shape. Key contributors include Team President Jon Haynes, board members Dane Larsen and Whitney Glendenning, and media and website coordinator Brandon Walker.

Alderidge FC Arctic Wolves is proudly rooted in the local community. Our mission is to provide a positive and competitive environment where young athletes can develop their skills, build lasting friendships, and grow both on and off the field. Today, we field teams across three age groups: U9, U10, and U11.

We are also grateful for the generous support of our sponsors, especially our main sponsor, Thunya Walker of Northshore Eyecare, whose contributions have been instrumental in helping launch and sustain the program. If you are interested in supporting the Arctic Wolves, please reach out.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We believe finding the right fit for a player is about more than just a stressful, 60-minute tryout. If your family is looking for a competitive but balanced soccer environment, please reach out to Club President Jon Haynes or Coach Neil. We'll likely start with a quick conversation to understand your child’s experience, goals, and love for the game. From there, we'll invite your player out to an in-person training session to meet the team, experience our coaching style, and see if Alderidge FC is the right fit.

  • We're committed to making high-quality club soccer accessible without the extreme financial burden typical of "premier" level clubs. Thanks to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, our dedicated volunteer coaches, and the incredible support of our generous local business sponsors and donors who subsidize the club, our annual registration cost is just [$100] per player. This club fee goes directly toward securing high-quality outdoor training facilities and covering tournament entry fees. (Note: Indoor league registration fees are handled separately and paid directly to the arena).

  • Currently, our primary competitive play takes place indoors at Arena Sports (primarily the Mill Creek location) to keep the players active and developing technical skills through the winter. Starting in Spring 2026, we are transitioning to a broader schedule, initiating regular outdoor training and preparing for local tournament play at quality complexes across the South Snohomish and North King County areas.

  • Alderidge FC is a local club. We know that excessive travel is a major pain point for families in competitive soccer, so we keep our footprint close to home. In addition to our current indoor games at Arena Sports, our upcoming Spring 2026 outdoor training sessions and local matches will be hosted right here in our community at fields in Edmonds, Lynnwood, and Mountlake Terrace.

  • As we finalize our field allocations with local parks departments for the upcoming outdoor seasons, our exact schedule is currently taking shape. However, our core philosophy is balance. We design our training schedule to provide highly focused, competitive development without the burnout or extreme time demands of full premier club commitments. Families can generally expect a manageable pattern of local weekday training sessions paired with weekend games, leaving plenty of time for schoolwork, family life, and other activities.

  • Alderidge FC is entirely community-driven, and there are several ways to get involved! As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of local families and businesses. You can make a tax-deductible financial contribution through our secure donation portal, ask about our Corporate Sponsorship programs for local businesses, or volunteer your time on the sidelines or behind the scenes. If you want to help us build something special in Edmonds and Lynnwood, please reach out! We'd love to have a conversation.

  • We love talking soccer and are always happy to answer questions from prospective families, sponsors, or community members. Please reach out directly to Club President Jon Haynes at president@alderidgefc.org.
